How do you store your snippets of code?

I do a lot of development in different languages (php, python, css and html, vb 6, vb dot net, java, c++, you name it) and currently I'm using something called Tiddly Wiki (which I adore) to help keep track of code that i write over and over again, however Tiddly Wiki is more of a content management app rather than a code warehouse. What applications (preferably standalone applications that I can keep on my usb thumb drive!) does everyone use to keep track of their snippets of code?

folders and directories.

I'm trying to convert snippets of code to tiny libraries (actually, intermediate objects, etc.) and re-use it from there.
